Grymovská pětka is a 5 km road race held in Grymov, a village in the Olomouc region. The municipal barn serves as the race headquarters. Typically held in October, the first category begins at 11:00 AM. SK SALIX Grymov organizes the event, maintaining a straightforward format: a short road distance on flat asphalt, designed for runners aiming to test their speed.
The course consists of two flat asphalt loops, facilitating easy comprehension and fast pacing. This configuration draws competitive runners from the Olomouc region and surrounding areas, with many participants using the race to pursue personal bests. One past edition saw 92 finishers despite rainy conditions, and the event almost did not proceed that year due to flooding. Recent results indicate the leading runners complete the 5 km in the mid-16-minute range, with Petra Poučo recorded as the fastest woman in that edition.
