Havlíčkova pětka is the short race within the Havlíčkobrodský půlmaraton event in Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic. It is held annually; the running day has been ongoing since 2013. The race is intended for those seeking an easier option than the half marathon, including runners without a relay team. The current route is approximately 4.2 km, with minimal elevation gain and primarily asphalt surfaces.
The race begins on Havlíčkovo náměstí, the town’s central square. It then proceeds through the center, largely following the Sázava river on cycle paths, sidewalks, roads, and short paved or path sections. This aligns with the event’s family-friendly nature, featuring races for various age groups, refreshments at the start and finish, and awards for top male and female finishers. Participation aids youth study and sport, and recent fields have expanded from a few dozen finishers to just over 200.
