Kokořínský kros is a five-race cross-country running series on natural trails in the countryside around Prague. Each race offers three distances, roughly 15 km, 10 km, and 5 km, so runners can choose between a longer trail effort and shorter off-road options. The venues sit within an hour of Prague’s city center, making the series easy to reach without turning it into a full travel weekend.
The races are held in places such as Brdy, Kokořínsko, Český ráj, Sázava, and Voděradské Bučiny. The format is simple: off-road running, no asphalt-course focus, and routes built around forest and countryside paths. The field includes competitive runners as well as club athletes; Zbyněk Kudrna raced the 15 km distance and finished second overall and first in his age category, while Jana Czeczinkarová ran the 10 km race and placed second in her age category.
