Kros Českým rájem is a 100% trail race held in Skokovy, Žďár, within the Mladá Boleslav district of Central Bohemia. Located less than an hour's drive from Prague, it takes place in a secluded area of Bohemian Paradise, where sandstone formations significantly influence the course's character. Participants can select from a 4.9 km sprint, a 10 km route, or a 15 km long route, with elevation gains ranging from 100 to 410 meters based on the chosen distance.
The course navigates narrow paths and forest roads winding through the rock formations. The terrain varies, featuring surfaces from white sand to grass and pine needles. The longest route offers the most substantial climbing challenge, while the shorter routes provide a similar trail experience in a condensed form. The event features both competitive and non-competitive races, alongside children's races, catering to club runners, casual trail runners, and families. This race is a segment of the Kros Tour, a series of five main trail races situated near Prague, with results contributing to overall standings.
