Kros Jesenický surovec is an October cross-country and trail race held at autocamp Jesenice in the Rakovník district of Central Bohemia. Participants can select a 6 km race, named Pětka, or a 21 km race, designated Půlmaraton. This event is part of the Jesenický outdoorový festiválek, a weekend gathering offering running, biking, hiking, and cultural activities. Shorter courses are available for children, with the main running races commencing later in the morning.
The course combines asphalt with field and forest paths, transitioning to clay, gravel, and rougher terrain where the surface can shift rapidly after rain. A significant portion of the running course overlaps with the MTB Jesenický Surovec route from the previous day, linking the race with the festival’s cycling events. Some competitors extend the weekend challenge by combining a run with the 25 or 50 km MTB Surovec routes, or the 300 km Ultrasurovec. TOM Netřesk Šanov organizes the race, with Saša Krško serving as the contact.
