Kružberský Tesák is a two-day dog-sport event held in Kružberk and its surroundings, designed for professionals, amateurs, families, and anyone seeking outdoor time with a dog. Saturday features dog trekking suitable for all skill levels. Experienced participants can enter challenging categories, including a marathon as part of a championship. Shorter or less demanding options are available for intermediates, beginners, families, and children. Participation is open to those with or without a dog, not exclusively for competitors focused on race outcomes.
The event utilizes the landscape near Kružberk, with the reservoir serving as a natural spot for a family walk. Sunday shifts to Pejskiáda, a more casual dog-focused day welcoming dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, including purebreds and mixed breeds. Dogs can demonstrate tricks, participate in costume competitions, or join children in contests, with awards and medals presented. The weekend also offers food, sausage grilling, tent camping, a night activity, and the awarding of the Kružberský Tesák title with a traveling trophy.
