Leskros Mácháč begins and ends at Rekreační areál Termit 25 in Doksy, near Máchovo Lake and within the Kokořínsko Protected Landscape Area of Máchův kraj. This is the third event in the Leskros trail series, featuring running and dog-sport teams. The program includes plain running, canicross, scootering, bikejöring, walking/running, dogtrek, and children’s races. Distances range from short junior and children’s courses to a 21 km dogtrek named Leskrosí jednadváca. Main adult distances are approximately 4 km, 9 km, and 21 km. A beginner-friendly 2 km canicross category, “My 1st canicross race,” is also offered.
The course consists of fast, flat forest roads with soft, sandy ground covered in pine needles, making it more suitable for both runners and dogs than hard pavement. The route passes near Mácháč and Bezděz, two local landmarks that establish the race's northern Bohemian setting. The event also includes the Czech Championship of Belgian Shepherds in canicross, bikejöring, and scootering, and serves as a qualifier for the FMBB world event in Romania. Practical arrangements cater to mixed human-and-dog racing: refreshments for people and dogs are available at the finish and halfway points. Parking, toilets, changing rooms, bag drop, and a Leskros kindergarten for young participants are located near the start area.
