Ludgeřovický kros is a small-capacity cross-country running event in Ludgeřovice, linked to the local Veterans Day program and also known as Běh válečných veteránů, the Run of War Veterans. Participants can select 4 km or 10 km, Nordic walkers have a 9 km route, and children can compete in 100 m and 500 m races. The event is limited to 400 participants, and registration closes upon reaching this capacity.
The courses are predominantly off-road, consisting of approximately 90% field and forest paths with minimal asphalt. The 10 km route ascends 140 metres, crossing diverse natural landscapes surrounding the village, including forest trails, field paths, and notable local sites. This race is a component of the Prajzsko-Opavská běžecká liga, attracting both young and adult runners. All finishers receive a custom metal medal, and those who registered early also get a matching commemorative magnet. Post-race refreshments feature traditional Czech offerings: sausage from the smokehouse or grilled hermelin cheese.
