Marathon de Trebon

Marathon de Třeboň is an autumn running event in Třeboň, featuring a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km. The longer races are designed for speed: flat, firm underfoot, and set within the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area, offering runners a nature route while maintaining the rhythm of a road race. It attracts participants aiming for a late-season personal best, assessing their autumn condition, or selecting a shorter distance on the same day. The field is limited partly because of the route's location in a protected area, and recent editions have sold out rapidly. Every finisher receives a medal, early registrants can personalize their bib with a chosen name or nickname, and the organizers offer a unique guarantee: this is the only marathon globally that ensures a squirrel sighting on the course.
