MilešovKa(p) is a September cross-country race in the Ústí nad Labem Region of Czechia. It begins in Teplice at the Beethoven Spa near the Prasátko spring and concludes on Milešovka. The primary race covers 17.5 km with 846 m of elevation gain, presenting a significant uphill challenge rather than a flat course. The day's events commence with earlier age categories in the morning, and the main race starts at 11:00. This event has been held for over twenty years, with records available from September races dating back to at least 2016.
The course crosses asphalt, marked trails, field tracks, and forest paths before the final ascent to Milešovka, a prominent peak in the Czech Central Highlands. The race is organized by AVZO TSČ ČR Teplice and the SPONA Teplice sports club associated with Doubravka Castle. The entry fee is reasonable compared to road race fees, with different rates for advance registration and race day. The local running community also organizes a smaller, non-commercial run from the vicinity of Kostomlaty pod Milešovkou castle ruins. This alternative route is 14 km on forest and field paths, directs its proceeds to charity, supports youth sports programs for children in care, allows participants under 15 to enter without charge, and intentionally omits medals and finish-line photographs.
