Myslív Race is an extreme obstacle run in Myslív, Klatovy District, Plzeň Region, set on hilly ground in the Šumava foothills. Participants select a 7 km course with 40 obstacles or a 10 km course with 60 obstacles. This course design makes the event obstacle-dense, even before considering the climbing and forest-road sections. The main race divides into ELITA and RACE categories. ELITA is the more demanding version, allowing one attempt per obstacle with a penalty task for failure. RACE permits repeated attempts but requires the runner to rejoin the queue before trying again.
The majority of the route follows forest roads, positioning the race closer to a rugged countryside run with intermittent obstacles rather than a flat, stadium-style OCR. Starts are conducted in pairs, with wider intervals for ELITA and shorter intervals for RACE. Only ELITA features winner announcements once all participants have completed the course. Categories include men, women, over-40 men and women, and three-person teams (members must be at least 15). Mixed teams are permitted. The event also includes a family component with non-competitive parent-child options and children’s races of 1.5 km or 3 km, based on age. TJ Sokol Myslív is the organizer, and published results date back several editions.
