The Ralská desítka begins and ends at the Mimoň swimming pool, located in the Česká Lípa district of the Liberec region. The primary race covers approximately 10.3 km and is part of a local running league. Registration occurs in the morning, with the race starting at 11:00 and awards presented after noon. While some race schedules mention a 5 km option, the officially published route is the longer "ten." Younger participants compete earlier in Vranovská alej, with a 0.5 km course for those under 10 and a 2 km course for ages 10 to 15.
The main course utilizes the red tourist trail, starting at the swimming pool and passing through Vranovská alej. It ascends towards Ralsko castle before descending to Srní potok and following the river back. This route classifies it as a trail-and-hill race rather than a flat road 10K, despite its "desítka" designation. As a participant in the Okresní běžecká liga Českolipsko, it attracts regional runners who follow the district series, as well as local residents and families attending the children's races. Vlasta Bartoníčková organizes the event, and the modest entry fee positions it as a community race rather than a large commercial undertaking.
