Silvestrovský běh Hrabovou is a New Year’s Eve road race held in Ostrava-Hrabová, beginning at the Sokol Hrabová sports ground in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It offers participants a final race opportunity before the year concludes, featuring a 9.2 km main distance, a shorter 4.7 km option, and a relay format for teams. The primary race commences in the morning, and the event is organized by MK Seitl Ostrava in conjunction with the Hrabová municipality. The main 9.2 km race consists of two laps of approximately 4.6 km on asphalt, making it suitable for runners seeking a fast, uncomplicated road race rather than a trail run. The shorter route is a single, less demanding lap intended for recreational runners and novices. The relay divides the total distance into four segments: 1.5 km, 3.1 km, 1.4 km, and 3.2 km, accommodating up to 30 teams.
