Vánoční běh Třtice is a 4.6 km race held on Boxing Day in Třtice, a village located in the Rakovník district of Central Bohemia. The start line is at the cultural hall. The first category begins in the morning. The event is also referred to as “Pětka,” despite the course measuring slightly less than five kilometres.
The course departs Třtice via the road leading to the Bucku recreation area. It transitions to off-road terrain within the area before returning to the road for a short ascent to the finish. TJ Rekrea Třtice is the organizing body. Categories include women’s, men’s, veteran, and women’s veteran. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each category, and the entry fee is modest. This is a traditional local holiday race with over fifty editions completed, emphasizing a relaxed post-Christmas run over a large-scale event.
