Vinařský maraton

Vinařský maraton is an autumn race held in Velké Bílovice, located in the South Moravian wine region of Czechia. Participants can select between a half marathon or a full marathon. The event is organized by Báječné ženy v běhu, a local running club. The course winds through vineyards, primarily utilizing bike paths that connect Velké Bílovice, Čejkovice, and Vrbice. Marathon participants complete two circuits, with minor adjustments on the second loop offering varied perspectives of the vineyard scenery. The timing is a key element: the race takes place as the grapevines change color, in an area deeply connected to wine production.
