Vstříc Míru is a small uphill race series in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The run begins at the Camping area and finishes at Chata Mír. This foot race takes place on a Wednesday in early autumn. The companion bike challenge allows riders a full month to complete the same Camping-to-Chata Mír route and submit a time online. The run is still new, while the cycling challenge is the established event.
The bike start is 100 meters higher than the running start. Both events share the destination but not the exact starting meters. Riders do not need advance registration and can make repeated attempts. A non-assisted bike category focuses on the fastest climb to the hut. Children can join the cycling challenge. The run uses age categories from juniors to runners over 70. Recent fields have been small but active, with dozens of runners, dozens of cyclists, and multiple bike attempts. Results for both are announced together at Chata Mír. Finishers receive refreshments, winners get small prizes, and extra prizes are offered for breaking the men's or women's cycling course record.
