1. Pumpkin run 2026

The Pumpkin Classic Race & Walk begins in the PNC Bank lot on Jefferson Street in Morton, Illinois, as part of the Morton Pumpkin Festival. A timed 10K and an untimed 2-mile fun run/walk are available. The shorter event starts first to prevent congestion on the course, at the split, and at the finish line. The flat course goes through Morton and towards its outskirts before returning to Jefferson Street, in the festival's center. The 2-mile event is designed for diverse participants, including children, seniors, walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. Rollerblades and dogs are not permitted on either course. Following the race, participants and their families can enjoy refreshments, music, awards, and the festival's well-known pumpkin donuts.
