The Rietberger RadSportClub RTF is a road and touring cycling day held at the sports field on Berglage in Rietberg-Mastholte, Germany. Riders sign on from early morning and start across several route lengths on a Sunday near the beginning of summer holidays. RSC Rietberg organizes the event under club president Gerd Habrich. Strong editions attract nearly 400 road, touring, and recreational cyclists from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Switzerland.
The longer routes extend into the Sauerland, while shorter-route riders return to Berglage early enough to eat and watch later finishers. A sweep team, the "Besenradteam," rides the 120-kilometer route last to ensure no one is left behind. Food-station crews return before the club disassembles everything in the evening. Habrich has noted that club cycling still experiences a post-Corona decrease in participation, particularly among younger riders. He advises cyclists to observe the weather directly rather than relying solely on weather apps.
