19. Öko-Run 2026

The Öko-Run is a small road race in Wächtersbach, starting and finishing at the Bioenergie Familienbad Wächtersbach. It is a Sunday morning event featuring a 5 km run, a 10 km main race, and a 1000 m student race. The route is fully asphalted, closed to road traffic, and runs beside meadows and fields along the Kinzig river. The student race is for U10 through U16, the 5 km includes youth beginner categories and an open run, and the 10 km is for youth classes up to adult categories through MW80. Entry is paid on site before the start, with lower fees for students.
