SanktPauli100 is a small private ultra centered on the run into Hamburg’s St. Pauli district. It began as a 100-mile Bremen-to-St. Pauli challenge, with 50 km and 100 km options now also available. The 100 km version starts in Rotenburg/Wümme and proceeds toward St. Pauli around Pentecost weekend in mid-May. This is not a large-city road race; the 100 km field is limited to 50 runners, and the time limit is 16 hours.
The route incorporates country roads, field tracks, forest paths, and singletrack in the Harburg Hills, featuring approximately 600 metres of elevation change on the 100 km course. It is unmarked, requiring runners to navigate using a GPX track, and a live tracker monitors each participant. Finishers receive a medal, hot food is available at the finish, and a shirt may be purchased separately. The race is organized by serious running, with Maiken, Michael, and Tim listed as contacts. Previous race materials include results and reports from a podium finisher, a runner who completed 100 km, and the organizing team.
