22. Eilenriederennen Hannover 2026

Eilenriederennen Hannover is a summer running event in Hannover’s Eilenriede, the large city forest east of the centre. Runners can choose 5 km, 10 km, or a half marathon, all on an officially measured, paved route with chip timing and aid stations. The course is flat, suiting those chasing a time as well as runners wanting a straightforward road race through the parkland. All races finish at Freizeitheim Lister Turm on Walderseestrasse. The route uses asphalt paths and roads through the Eilenriede, including a section over Steuerndieb towards the zoo, with the half marathon repeating a turnaround course. The event is organised by Trimindous UG with the City of Hannover’s Stadtteilzentrum Lister Turm, and it has reached its 22nd edition. More than 1,940 people registered, and good weather brought many personal bests. The finish setup includes drinks and melon at the end of the finish channel and finisher gifts at the beer garden.
