26. Verdener Stadt-Lauf 2026

The Verdener Stadt-Lauf is a Friday evening road race in Verden, with the event center at Lugenstein near the cathedral. LAV Verden organizes it, featuring flat 5 km and 10 km road races alongside a 3 x 900 m mixed relay. It is an off-stadium event, with races conducted on the roads, not a track. Lugenstein serves as the start and finish point, where runners collect race numbers and assemble for awards. The event accommodates a wide range of participants: children, youth runners, active adults, and masters are all included with specific categories. Age groups range from young teens to older masters. The 10 km race also serves as the district championship for participants U16 and older, with entries from the Lüneburg district automatically factored into the championship scoring.
