The Zeutschel-Spitzberglauf begins in the evening before the Turn und Festhalle in Hirschau, a district of Tübingen, Germany. This is a short running event during the Hirschau Sports Weekend. It features a 13.1 km main race, with shorter options including 6.4 km, 8.1 km, and a 400 m distance for younger runners. The 6.4 km race is open to adults and youth aged 12 and up. This shorter course is also hilly, with approximately 212 meters of elevation gain.
The route follows forest paths and open sections with views above Hirschau, then goes past the vineyard slopes near the Wurmlingen Chapel. Runners seeking a set pace can join groups running between 5:00 and 7:00 minutes per kilometer, guided by pacers. The hobby course also offers guidance, assisting slower or newer participants. The event appeals to local club runners, recreational runners, youth participants, and individuals looking for a compact race with genuine hills rather than a flat town circuit.
