38. Lila-Eule-Cross 2026

The Lila-Eule-Cross sends runners into the Hüholz-Wald in Kappeln for a forest cross-country race organized by Borener SV and TSV Kappeln. It is a late-autumn event with rolling 5.4 km and 10.8 km options, plus separate races for children and youth. The meeting is listed as an off-stadium event, with the terrain and repeated loops doing more of the work than a fast track or road course. Both main distances use a rolling multiple-loop course, and every race finishes in Hüholz, Kappeln. The series is deep enough into its history to be well past its early editions, and it can also host bigger championship racing: the Schleswig-Holstein Cross-Landesmeisterschaften are held as part of the Lila-Eule-Crosslauf in some editions.
