The Josef Kaderhandt-Waldlauf Plus is a summer forest run held in Menden, located in the Sauerland region of Nordrhein-Westfalen. Marathon-Club Menden organizes the event, which provides three straightforward options: a 20 km race, a 20 km Plus format extendable lap by lap to a maximum of 50 km, and a 7.8 km run suitable for all participants. Each race is limited to 300 starters, with a six-hour cutoff time applicable to all categories. race|result timing is responsible for recording laps and finish times.
The start point is in Waldemei, near the Kolping memorial stone, while the finish has been relocated to Bürgerbad Leitmecke. The course consists of paved forest paths, requiring runners to complete multiple laps: three laps for the 20 km race, one lap for the 7.8 km run, and up to eight laps for the Plus race. This lap structure also generates intermediate results at distances like 26 km, with available distances including 8, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44, and 50 km. This is the event's 42nd edition, and awards are presented to the fastest male and female finishers.
