42. Jahn-Gedenklauf 2026

The Jahn-Gedenklauf is a running event in Freyburg an der Unstrut, held on a Saturday in late August as part of the Jahn-Turnfest. It features three flat races: a 2 km introductory run for all age groups, a 6 km race for youth and adults, and a 12.2 km race for adults and senior categories. All distances conclude in the Stadtstadion, where the race office manages race-day organization from the morning. LGV Gleina organizes the event, and the Freyburg race contributes to a ranking list. The format is local and club-focused: youth runners, adult racers, seniors, and newcomers participate in the program, with certificates awarded to the top three in each age group and participation certificates for the introductory run.
