45. Abendlauf Hamminkeln 2026

Abendlauf Hamminkeln is an evening run held in Hamminkeln, North Rhine-Westphalia, each September on the Lower Rhine. The primary events are 5 km and 10 km races on asphalt paths; the 10 km involves two circuits. The program accommodates toddlers, school children, walkers, and general runners. Hamminkelner Sportverein 1920/46 e.V. is the organizer, and the event attracted over 1,000 participants during its most recent record year. The 5 km and 10 km courses are officially measured according to DLV standards, ensuring certified distances for participants aiming for specific times. A water station is positioned at the 2.5 km mark. A separate 5 km walking race is also offered. A unique feature is the final 400 meters of the 5 km and 10 km races, which are timed independently, creating a "finish-sprint cup" for runners strong in the closing stretch.
