70. Winterwaldlauf 2027

The Winterwaldlauf is a March race day in Erlangen, starting and finishing at Grundschule Brucker Lache. It uses flat natural trails and offers nine distances, from a free 400-meter Bambini run to the 12.6 km City-Trail. Runners can also choose 1.7 km, 5 km, 6.3 km, 10 km, or a Run-and-Hike relay with two 5 km legs. The event is built for a wide field: children, youth runners, fitness runners, walkers, Nordic walkers, and relay pairs all have their own options. It is in its 24th running, and the practical setup is unusually complete for a local forest race, with parking, changing areas, showers, post-race massages, and cake and coffee sold for a good cause.
