8. Mittsommernachtslauf Hannover

On one of the longest days of the year, the Mittsommernachtslauf Hannover sends runners through the greener parts of Hannover. This midsummer road race offers three distances: a 7.7 km solo run, a 21.1 km solo run, and a 23.1 km relay for teams of three. The event is part of the Sparkassen-Laufpass-Serie for the Hannover region. The route follows the Leine-Auen, the river meadows along the Leine, creating a parkland and floodplain setting rather than inner-city streets. Short-distance runners, half-marathon runners, and relay teams may compete on the same evening, with late entries accepted for all distances from 17:00. Trimindous UG organizes the event. The Laufpass series also includes races like the Deister-Crossing in Springe, Eilenriederennen Hannover, and Silvesterlauf Hannover-Linden.
