Abendstraßenlauf 2026

The Abendstraßenlauf is a 10 km evening road race in Herxheim, run on a flat, asphalted three-lap course through the town since 1987. TV Herxheim organizes it at the Pamina-Schulzentrum on Südring, and the program also includes Bambini, children’s, junior, and beginner races, meaning the event is not limited to experienced 10 km runners. The main course is officially measured and eligible for record lists, giving it a more serious racing aspect than a casual town fun run. Over time, the original 10 km race was expanded with shorter family-friendly distances, and the event has hosted district championships and Palatinate championships in the 10 km road race several times.
