Adventslauf Dornhan-Weiden is a traditional Advent run in Weiden, held annually on the first Advent near Dornhan in the Rottweil district. The races begin and end at the multi-purpose hall by the sports grounds on Hopfauer Weg, leading runners into the Fuchswald. Adults may select a 10.7 km main race or a 5.9 km middle distance, with Nordic Walking available on the shorter route. Children have their own races: 2.4 km for older students, 1.5 km for younger students, and a 350 m toddler run around the sports field.
The main and middle-distance courses feature approximately 3 km of asphalt, with the majority of the route utilizing wide, maintained forest and farm paths. The student races also combine asphalt with forest paths, providing younger participants with a genuine course instead of just a track loop. The event welcomes club and non-club runners; recent editions have attracted over 200 participants, including 125 in the main race and 28 children and youths in the student races. A local tradition is the tombola: after finishing, runners present their bib number at the tea-and-fruit station in the finish area for entry.
