Ahornweg Ultra Stage 2 covers 47 km, forming the western loop of the Ahornweg Ultra. This is a two-day trail running event held in Germany's Teutoburg Forest. Participants can register for this stage individually or link it with the 67 km eastern loop to complete the entire 114 km Ahornweg Ultra. Stage 2 begins and concludes at the parking area near the outdoor swimming pool on Holperdorper Strasse in Lienen. The time limit is 8 hours, with some flexibility from the organizers.
The course utilizes the marked Ahornweg hiking trail. Consequently, the route is established along an established long-distance path, not a closed-road circuit. Each stage includes two aid stations. The number of participants is intentionally limited: only 20 runners can enter a single stage, and the full two-stage event has a cap of 30 participants. Those who finish are awarded a medal, and results with certificates are published online via Race Result.
