Badekappenlauf 2026

The Badekappenlauf is part of the OSTSEE Sportspiele running program in Cottbus-Willmersdorf. The APEX OstSee Sportpark and the Möbel-Höffner car park host this two-day sports weekend in June. The event, now in its sixth edition, features around 30 events across 20 sports, including running, football, pickleball, beach hockey, boccia, darts, yoga, cycling, triathlon, dance, and water games. The running events are integrated into a larger community festival, not a standalone race. Participants are joined by families, youth teams, local clubs, and spectators who can explore a family corner, children’s rally, game stations, archery, regional club performances, show acts, and the free OSTSEE Party. The program also includes a half marathon, the OSTSEE Run by ROTEC, and races for Bambini and schoolchildren, catering to both adult runners and younger participants.
