Bergheide-Cross is a club-organized cross-country race in Langendamm, Germany, near Nienburg. Its course winds through the Osterberg recreational and protected landscape area. The main races, starting in the late afternoon, include a 5.2 km run for participants aged 14 and up, and a 10.4 km run for those 16 and older. The shorter route is also open to walkers. A separate 1000 m student race provides a distinct start for children and young teenagers before the main events.
The course starts near the access road to the Schützenhaus, the local shooting club's house, and enters Osterberg instead of following a city-road loop. Sport-Club Bergheide Langendamm e.V. organizes the event. The race holds DLV approval, qualifying it as a proper regional cross race and a local community gathering. On-site registration for the student race is free, and the combination of walking, youth racing, and age-group competition contributes to its family-friendly atmosphere compared to a typical single-distance race.
