Giller-Lauf 2026

The Giller-Lauf is an evening road race held in Hilchenbach, North Rhine-Westphalia. It begins at the Sportanlage Ginsberger Heide on Hof Ginsberg. The race is part of the Rothaar-Laufserie AOK-Cup and offers participants a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a 2 km youth race, in addition to a Nordic Walking option. The youth race starts first, with the 5 km and 10 km races following, and walkers beginning shortly thereafter. The Giller-Lauf is organized by Siegerland Turngau 1886 e.V., one of multiple local clubs that support the Rothaar-Laufserie. This series also features the Erndtebrücker Volkslauf, Panorama-Run Bad Laasphe, Kindelsberglauf, Rothaar-Waldlauf, and Helberhäuser HauBerg-Lauf. Therefore, the Giller-Lauf functions as a segment within a regional running schedule, not as an isolated event. The series concludes with an annual awards ceremony for all participants.
