Kolberger Berglauf is a September mountain race held in Kolberg, located within Heidesee in Brandenburg. The start and finish lines are situated at Badestrand Kolberg, on the shores of Wolziger See. Participants have a choice of marked routes, ranging from a 2 km school run to a half marathon, with a hiking option available for walkers.
Most routes, excluding the school run, ascend the Kolberg, an 89-meter hill that lends its name to the event. The race day typically features distances of 5 km, approximately 11.5 km, a half marathon, and a 12 to 15 km hike. These courses offer varied terrain and include aid stations. The event accommodates a diverse group of participants, including adults, youth, children, hikers, club members, and local residents. A unique aspect of the race is the use of loaned bibs, which are returned immediately after crossing the finish line.
