RTF Ruhrschleife

The RTF Ruhrschleife begins at the Waldstadion in Silschede on a Sunday morning at 9:00. Riders choose from several route options instead of a single mass-start. RSC Silschede organizes the event, which is now in its 15th year. The ride covers roads in the Ruhr area, featuring control points that are nearly as significant as the distance covered. K2 provides homemade pizza, while other stops offer homemade honey, cookies, and jam. K3 is located by the canoe club, offering views of the Ruhr; riders have previously commended this riverside stop. A recent running of the event attracted 246 participants, supported by local volunteers who manage the controls.
