The Schweiger Forstlauf Anzing is a family-friendly running event in Anzing, Bavaria, held at the sport center and organized by LG Sempt. It typically takes place on Germany's national holiday and has been a fixture on the local race calendar since 1981. The event offers 10 km and 5 km races, along with a short 0.7 km race for children and young runners.
The course winds through the Ebersberger Forst on flat, even, wind-sheltered paths with minimal asphalt. This terrain accommodates both fast road runners and those who prefer softer forest ground. The event attracts a four-figure field, with over 1,100 participants reported, and juniors are a prominent part of the day. Local runners frequently place well; U18 runner Emil Oppelt, for instance, finished fourth in the main race and won the U20 road race championship.
