Silvesterlauf Mörschied

Silvesterlauf Mörschied is a New Year’s Eve running event held in Mörschied, Germany. The primary 10 km race begins at noon. The event also features a 3 km Jedermannlauf, a 1200 m youth race, and a 200 m Bambini race for the youngest participants, functioning as a local year-end running day rather than a singular race. The course is predominantly off-road, with approximately 90 percent consisting of well-maintained forest paths within a single woodland. The initial asphalt segment includes a moderate incline, meaning the most challenging paved section occurs early. TuS Mörschied organizes the race, which had nearly forty years of history by its thirty-ninth edition. Registration is managed online via Race Result, without on-site sign-ups, and race numbers with safety pins are distributed locally.
