Silvesterlauf Stadtlohn

The Silvesterlauf Stadtlohn is a New Year’s Eve running event in Stadtlohn, North Rhine-Westphalia, organized by SuS Stadtlohn 19/20 e.V. It caters to a local year-end crowd, not just serious racers, offering short student races, an 8 km run, a 15 km run, and an 8 km walking or hiking option. Start and finish are on Engelbert-Sundermann-Straße near the pedestrian bridge, with the event centered in one easily accessible location. Younger students compete in a 1200 m race, older students in a 2400 m race, and youth and adults select between 8 km and 15 km. Student runners get a medal and an online certificate with their time. The top three in the student, youth, and adult running races receive trophies. Low entry fees and same-day late registration make it a simple community race for families, club runners, walkers, and those seeking a final run before the year concludes.
