Stadtwerke Halbmarathon Bochum

The Stadtwerke Halbmarathon Bochum offers runners three single-loop city races in Bochum, Germany: a half marathon, a 10 km, and a 5 km. This street-running event takes place near the end of August. Children’s and junior races are held alongside the adult distances, making the day suitable for families, newer runners, and those targeting the longer race. The half marathon covers the standard 21.0975 km distance in one loop. The 10 km and 5 km also use single-loop courses. TV Wattenscheid 01 Leichtathletik e.V. organizes the event. A dedicated preparation group has assisted runners in getting ready for it for 20 years, beginning each May with LGO Bochum.
