Swim & Run Köln 2026

Swim & Run Köln is a swim-run event at Fühlinger See in northern Cologne, held at the end of May. The format is simple: swim first, then run, with short and long options. The short race pairs 500 meters in the lake with a 5 km run, while the long race doubles that to a 1,000-meter swim and a 10 km run. It is run by pulsschlag and is set up for both individual racers and relay teams. The swim uses the former World Championship regatta course at Fühlinger See, a large recreation area made up of seven connected bodies of water and valued locally for very good water quality. The run stays around one of Cologne’s popular outdoor spots, and the transition zone, finish line, and expo are all grouped in one place. The field is aimed at triathletes, swimmers, runners, ambitious competitors, and newcomers, with expected entries in the low hundreds across the individual and relay races.
