Volksbank Ettlinger Altstadt-Lauf

The Volksbank Ettlingen Altstadtlauf begins at the Volksbank Arena in Ettlingen’s Stadtgarten, adjacent to the Volksbank Ettlingen head office. This Friday evening city race offers several distances: short student races, a 3.525 km inclusion run, and a 10 km main race commencing later in the evening. The race route follows Ettlingen’s old town. Younger children complete a 1,000 m out-and-back course, older students navigate one 2.950 km loop through the Altstadt, and the 10 km participants run two 3.525 km laps and one 2.950 km lap. Approximately 1,000 runners participate in the main race, with around 400 children and teenagers in the student events, positioning the Altstadtlauf as Ettlingen’s largest sporting event. Volksbank Ettlingen organizes the event with SC 88 Bruchhausen and Stadtwerke Ettlingen, concluding with an after-race party in the Stadtgarten.
