The ALOT 6 Hour Run takes participants around a 2.221 km asphalt loop encircling Tueholm Sø, situated in the south of Vallensbæk and Albertslund. The race is scheduled for a late-October date. This is a timed running event, not a fixed-distance race; participants select a duration of 1, 3, or 6 hours and aim to complete the maximum distance possible within their chosen timeframe. Marathon and relay options are also offered. The event was established in 2009 and was previously known as the CPH 6 Hour Run.
The course's short loop ensures runners pass the finish line approximately every 2.2 km. This proximity means support, music, and the aid station are always close by. The aid station is a significant feature, providing candy, chocolate, fruit, salt tablets, and drinks throughout the repeated laps. Runners from Denmark and abroad return annually, frequently citing the event's organization as a primary reason for their participation.
