CPH Half is a 21.0975 km half marathon in Copenhagen. It begins on Jagtvej and directs runners onto a fast, flat route designed for quick times. Established in 2015, it attracts participants aiming for personal records and those running the distance for the first time. The wide, traffic-free roads provide an open atmosphere, and the crowd's energy makes the event feel like a citywide running party rather than a subdued race.
The course winds through Copenhagen’s neighborhoods, the historic center, and Frederiksberg’s green boulevards, passing landmarks like Rosenborg Castle, the Marble Church, Tivoli, and Kongens Nytorv. Music and entertainment zones are positioned along the route to support runners through challenging sections, with thousands of spectators lining the streets. Copenhagen also hosts the World Athletics Road Running Championships, where the official half marathon world champions are crowned on this same course.
