Griseriløbet is an annual trail-style fun run in Brande, Denmark, built around a simple promise: you will get wet feet and you will get dirty. It is an autumn race where bad weather is treated as good news, because rain adds more water, slush, and mud to the route. Runners can choose short distances such as 5 km, 8 km, 8.5 km, or 10 km, depending on the edition.
The course uses terrain rather than road racing: gravel, grass, forest paths, mud, and whatever mess the November weather leaves behind. Brande Motion helps organize it, and the chair, Mia Thomsen, has summed up the mood clearly: more water and slush means more fun. Over 100 runners have joined, making it a local mass-participation event rather than a polished race for fast times.
