Lundhags EventyrHike Svanninge Bakker is a guided hike in the hills of South Funen, with a route of about 15 to 25 km. It begins at Gåsebjergsand and passes through Svanninge Bakker and Svanninge Bjerge, a landscape shaped by the ice age, where hills, old human traces, and signs of prehistoric animals are part of the experience. This is not a speed-focused event; it is designed for people who want a planned day outdoors with nature, company, and time to appreciate the surroundings. The route proceeds toward the Bikubenfonden research station, where a biologist will discuss a current nature project. It continues over undulating terrain with views toward the South Funen Archipelago and passes the yellow Svanninge Church, Hammerdammen, Rislebækken, Sollerup Forest, Helvedes Hule, Brændelund Sø, and the summit of Lerbjerg. Participants will follow arrows and a roadbook containing local history, with options to adjust the walk's length at several points. Free-roaming animals, diverse plant life, a chef-prepared lunch, snacks, coffee, and tea are included.
