Moesgaard Trail Run

Moesgaard Trail Run is an off-road running event held around Moesgaard Museum, located south of Aarhus, Denmark. Participants can select from 4, 8, or 12 kilometer distances, with the option to finalize their chosen distance on race day. This event accommodates both novice and seasoned runners; the shorter distance is accessible, yet the terrain still demands focus. The course departs from urban streets, entering woodland where the ground underfoot, inclines, and curves are more significant than a consistent road pace. Past events have sold out due to high demand, making early registration via Aarhus Motion advisable. Upon finishing, participants receive a warm bowl of soup, a fitting and traditional Danish reward following a chilly or wet trail run.
