Škoda BørneTour Kolding

Škoda BørneTour Kolding is a cycling race for young riders interested in trying bike racing within an official event. The race-day setup connects it with Fyen Rundt, allowing children to ride over the same finish line used by the UCI elite field. Start numbers are collected in the morning, with same-day registration available online. The children’s races occur before the elite riders begin nearby. The racing is divided by age: riders aged 8 to 15 compete for 15 minutes plus a final lap, while the 5 to 8 and 3 to 4 groups race for 12 minutes plus a final lap. A bell signals the last lap. Parents can accompany riders on the route, and children can briefly test the course before the first group starts. Available at the event are Woom children’s bikes and helmets for trial, a presence from Škoda Ejby, the youth section of Middelfart CC, and prizes for every participant presented on the main stage.
