The Campo a Través Ciudad de Archidona is a cross-country race held in Archidona, Málaga. It takes place in a park adjacent to the town’s Punto Limpio and is included in the Diputación de Málaga Provincial Circuit. The primary race covers 7,500 meters, preceded by shorter events for various age and category divisions.
The event typically draws several hundred participants, with athletes traveling from towns throughout Andalusia, though some editions feature a larger contingent from the local area. The race has been held at least thirty times. The Andalusian Athletics Federation acknowledged this milestone with a commemorative award presented to Archidona’s mayor. In one instance, the race observed a minute of silence in memory of Francisco Roldán, a Club Gedysa athlete who passed away shortly before the event.
